Fun Stuff

I love to take pictures, and my primary targets, I mean volunteers, are usually my family , my pets, and my friends in the bands I am in.

Introducing, my family!

This is my husband. He’s not really hiding with the dogs. This is my youngest son. He
likes the camera more than he lets on.
This is my middle son at his grad.
Notice how dignified he behaves
when he sees the camera.
Here is my oldest son. The reason he looks so happy is that I caught him in the kitchen snitching food.

Introducing, my pets!

This is my dog, Heidi, a Miniature Schnauzer. She loves the snow but does not love to go into the bathtub afterward. This is Bowser, my husband’s Standard Schnauzer, he is now 11 years old and still steals socks.
coming soon, my fishes
This is Bub, the Bearded Dragon. He is much more cuddly
than he will admit. He is giving me a rather unpleasant look
here because my loving husband and sons let him eat one of
my houseplants, and I caught them all, too late, unfortunatly
for my plant as you can see by his tummy.
I also have 2 Betta fishes, who live in my son’s aquarium. It is much harder than I thought it would be to take pictures of fish.

Introducing, my music!

Golden Ears Jazz Band in the bandstand Golden Ears Jazz Band on the bridge for the Maple Ridge Garden Club Celebration 2012
I play upright bass for the Golden Ears Jazz Band. This is us at the bandstand where we performed at Partners In Parks 2011. Here is the Golden Ears Jazz band posing on the bridge at the Maple Ridge Garden Club Celebration 2011. As you can see we are a fun bunch, as evidenced by the guitarist making rabbit ears behind my head.
I played snare drum for the Santa Claus Parade because my bass was too big to carry. This is me with my acoustic double bass. This was taken backstage at THE ACT Theatre in Maple Ridge, BC
A Little Night Music Orchestra practice night poster for A Little Night Music Orchestra's upcoming concerts in front of Starbucks in Vancouver, BC
I play acoustic double bass for A Little Night Music Orchestra. This is us during practice. I’m not in the photo because I took the picture. Here is some interesting advertising for our next concert – it’s a poster on a bike rack in front of a Starbucks in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Vancouver is a very Earth Friendly city, and despite the horrible traffic, a lot of people ride their bikes both in and out of the city.
